Cheryl Hines
Cheryl Ruth Hines is a Florida native, born in the 21st day of September, 1965 in Miami Beach to Rosemary (Graham) her parents James Hines and Rosemary (Graham). The family lived in Tallahassee. She went to West Virginia University, Florida State University and graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida. Following her studies in theater and TV productions at Los Angeles, she realized that it was comedy she was not aware of until she was a student at UCLA. Lisa Kudrow, her first teacher at the Groundlings Theatre was a great instructor. Her first lesson was to come up with ideas and draw comic sketches. It was a great way to get ready for the role as Larry David's spouse on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). The dialogue in the comedy is made up, which means she's comfortable. The Groundlings Theater is the place where she can perform when her schedule permits.
